The Green Dragon House System
All children in Year Reception to Year 6 and all staff are separated into Houses. These Houses are Boston Manor House, Kew House, Osterley House and Syon House. Children with siblings in school or staff who have children who attend Green Dragon Primary School are allocated into the same House.
House points are awarded in units of 1, 2, 5 and 10.They are recorded on charts in each classroom and totaled at the end of each Thursday. Weekly totals are announced in the Achievement Assembly on Fridays and displayed on the House Point board in the hall and in the weekly Newsletter. The winning House each week is awarded the House Cup with their colour ribbon displayed.
House Points are also totaled at the end of each half term and the winning House is awarded a House Party. All members of the House from Year Reception to Year 6, as well as House staff, are invited to the party to celebrate their success.
