Nursery aged children welcome to attend After Care from September 2017:  From September most children who attend GD Nursery will be able to attend After Care from 3.30 until 6pm every day.  Children will need to be able to manage independently from a 1:1 adult and be dry.  Please call 07788 851 514 for more details.  

  • Morning Care & Breakfast Club Drop In

    Morning Care is run in the Children's Centre by two playleaders. Children are offered a healthy breakfast and a range of activties to enjoy before school starts. Children can be dropped off at 7.45am. At 8.50 Infant children are taken to their classrooms by the staff, Junior aged children make their own way to class at 8.45 or can go and join in morning sports.

    For £2 your Junior aged child can drop in to Morning Care for breakfast and then go straight to the playground for morning sports. Please note that if it is wet morning sports is cancelled and if your child requires day care until 8.45 a £2 fee is required, this includes breakfast.

    At the moment After Care is very busy so parents are reminded that they MUST book in advance if they want their child to attend. 

    After Care/Holiday Care who got a 5 star Hygiene rating in their recent inspection! 

    Children can attend Morning Care once they start Reception. Sessions cost £2 which includes breakfast.

    Holiday Care is open throughout every school holiday with the exception of the Christmas holidays and Bank Holidays.   It is always open during INSET days.

  • After Care

    After Care runs every evening from 3.15 - 6pm. The staff are all qualified playworkers who regularly attend training courses to keep their qualifications relevant and their ideas fresh.

    After Care is a not for profit scheme, run by a voluntary committee made up of parents whose children attend the scheme, a school representative and a member of Hounslow's Extended Schools Team. All money taken in fees goes directly to paying wages and buying resources for the children.

    Sessions cost £6 an evening if booked in advance or £8  if booked on the day; this includes a light tea. Children are offered a range of activities including arts & crafts, sport, construction games, puzzles and cooking.

  • holiday care

    Holiday Care Scheme runs whenever the school is closed (except for public holidays). The scheme is run by qualified playworkers and is a fun and interesting place to be! Children can use the scheme for one or two days of any holiday or every day. It is used both by parents who work and by parents who want their children to have a fun day out during the holidays.

    Currently Holiday Care costs £17 a day for children who attend Green Dragon and £19 a day for children who attend a different school. Children can attend from 7.45 am until 6pm; half day bookings can be made on most days.

    During Holiday Care the children are offered a range of activities including arts and crafts, cooking, gardening, trips out, sports and free choice of construction, reading, puzzles and games.
